Online Jewelry Appraisal Software

One of the most asked question we get at the Jewelry Appraisal Center is "How Safe is it to Appraise Jewelry Online?"

Consider this:

  • You NEVER have to send it away
  • You NEVER have to let it out of your site
  • You NEVER have to pay an unfair price

Why?

Because you do this from the comfort and securty of your own home or work.

Just six pages of a simple Multiple Online Form (lots of Help menus) and the Software will not only calculate the value of your jewelry, but will write the description to a Certificate you can print at home.

There are discounts on more than one Certificate, or Membership where you can get FREE Jewelry Appraisals each month. Too easy!

Hey Dave. Whenever we travel overseas we often buy jewelry which looks a good price. How do we get a Ball park value quickly?

Great Hub BTW

This is a very interesting service that allows people to avoid the pawnshops. It can also be helpful for those that want a second opinion on what their jewelry is worth.

Thanks mws44 for your most welcome comment. But please remember that a jewelry Appraisal is designed for INSURANCE REPLACEMENT only, so if you want a secondhand value, or an eBay 'Ballpark' figure, you have to take a percentage of the appraisal price to get a better figure.

When you have jewelers selling items at 50% off - my question is always - 'OFF WHAT?"

For more information on the TYPES of jewelry appraisals, please visit my website at http://www.online-jewelry-appraisals.com and take a GOOD and CAREFUL look around. There is a great deal of variations to the price.

Great tool!! The outcome of a professional jewelry appraisal is to describe your jewelry in enough detail to enable the full replacement of your jewelry in case of its loss.

Jewelry appraisals are "Not" just for insurance purposes. There are appraisals for other reasons such as estate value, divorce, court etc. While insurance replacement is most often the reason it is not the only reason...Graduate Gemmologist.

Why Jewelry Appraisals Are So Confusing?

    "I'm sorry - I don't understand..."

    "Please explain?"

    "Woa! - Slow Down!"

These are common reactions when clients walk into the Gemologist's or Jewelry Appraiser's Business. And do you want to know a secret - that's EXACTLY what the gemologist or appraiser wants. Bummer eh?

G'day there - Dave here again.

There is an old saying which goes something like this...

    "In Confusion there is Opportunity."

And that is just what makes Lawyers and Specialists and (need I say it) Gemologists and Appraisers rich.

Well most anyway - not me - I'm still living the average life - NOT guru status at all - :-(

So by keeping you (the general public) confused achieves two things.

1: It makes you (the client) think that they (the specialist) are well... Special. And that leads to the second thing...

2: Money - yep - they can charge you because you THINK they know stuff that you don't (which they do) so that means they MUST BE WORTH THEIR FEE.

    But hang on a minute...

They know how to identify a gemstone don't they?

TRUE - but when you bought the item in the first place, didn't you get a store receipt or eBay Sellers Description or maybe an old out-of-date appraisal written by someone who DID KNOW what the gemstone was?

    First objection solved!

Yea But... - They know the 4 C's and can measure any gemstone in any shape.

TRUE - But (apart from the first objection which still holds true) all they did was measure the thing. Don't you know how to take a simple clear plastic school ruler and turn it around from inches to millimeters?

    Hey it's 3.5mm guys - Wow look at me - I'm a jewelry appraisal expert :-)

    It really is that easy.

Okay - okay - okay but I'm not sure how to know what the gold silver or platinum quality is. I know it's a ring (lol) and I can count the number of gems but that's about all.

In simple terms - If you can count - measure - read an old appraisal (or original store reciept or eBay Sellers's description) you can fill in the 4-6 pages on an easy multiple choice form (takes about 15 - 20 minutes) and let the software write the description and calculate the value based on GIA principles and Formulas used by ALL the Worlds Qualified Gemologists and Appraisers - and create you own online jewelry appraisal (or gemstone lab report) almost instantly.

No magic - no fluff - lots of help menus and a great Technical Support Staff to guide you through. In fact the hardest thing is...

    Wait for it...

    STARTING!

Now go for it. You can read more about it here: Online Jewelry Appraisals Center and I'll see you there.

HINT# There are hundreds or articles and Videos and even Questions and Answers available including a chance to see other clients past appraisals. Go now and get your Jewelry Valued

    P.S. It's inexpensive too
